- Back-UPS ES 725

NextGenElectronics have checked out APC's latest addition to their Uninterruptible Power Supply line of which they are reknowned for in terms of quality and assurance. It also shows us how useful and important it is to implement one of these into your PC setup at home or office. The big plus is that it's very affordable too.

Since computers were invented there's been one harrowing negative against the use of these machines - they are completely dependant on a continuous power source, without surges. What's worse is if a harmful electrical surge comes through the lines and could potentially wipe out your entire computer for good.

- Albatron KX18D Pro II nForce 2 Mainboard

This is one of the newest nforce2 based m/boards to arrive on the scene. Furioustech have gone into plenty of detail here. If you're looking to get a new board for your K7, this one offers excellent performance at a great price.

With all the AMD K8 processors coming out, what is a person to do? Well unless you have deep pockets and can afford an upgrade, there are a lot of good K7 motherboard solutions on the market. A while ago I reviewed the KM18G PRO Micro ATX motherboard from Albatron and Venny Yu has sent me the KX18D PRO II full ATX motherboard and we are going to take a look at this offering from Albatron. I would like to thank Albatron and Venny Yu for the sample in this review. This motherboard is of the nForce 2 family and does not have onboard video. So let's get going and see what this board has to offer.
