- ABIT AI7 i865PE

ABit's new P4 board based on the 865PE chipset has been reviewed over at Envy News. This is one of Abit's first boards to have implemented their new µGuru technology.

After having such an enjoyable review of the i875P IC7-MAX3 motherboard, I was interested to see what ABIT had to offer in the way of the i865PE chipset. As luck would have it I not only get to try out the ABIT solution of the i865PE chipset, but I also get hands on experience with the µGuru features in the form of an AI7 motherboard.

I am always a big fan of unique features on a motherboard, provided they are for function rather than form. A good marketing gimmick will get your attention, but functionality will keep you satisfied and willing to share your fondness of an item to others. I hope what I find in the µGuru portion of this review will lead to the fondness I speak of.

- Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1 vs. M-Audio Revolution 7.1

Both of these Envy24HT based cards go head-to-head over at TechConnect. At the end of the day, both cards have their own benefits over the other.

The round-up features two of the most debated Envy24HT soundcards of the moment. It is about Audiotrack's Prodigy 7.1 and M-Audio's Revolution 7.1. There are debates on which one is better. It will be quite interesting to find out which one is better and what differences are between the two soundcards. Although both cards feature same sound chip, the Envy24HT, there are plenty of differences that make each card to stand out. We hope some, if not all, of your questions will be answered in the review so that you will make a clear idea about each card's advantages. Before starting reviewing the soundcards, we would like to wish you a good reading.
