- DOOM Movie, On it's way!

I just discovered over at Computer Gaming World that the DOOM movie we've heard through the grapevine only a few times in the past does indeed look to be coming along nicely. No word on when it will be released yet, but at least the focus is still there.

"I think DOOM 3 is a great property...and so do [Wells and Bonaventura]. So we're focused on a strong script and from there build the momentum to attract the right director and actors."

- DDR3?!

According to Micron, we will see production of GDDR3 256Mbit memory chips within the second quarter of next year. Initially, the speeds of these are reported to run at 500mhz, rising to 700mhz a little further down the track. More at The Inquirer.
