- Corsair PC4400
Corsair has released their new line of PC4400 memory modules for those addicted to insanely high FSB. The folks over at DV Hardware have the scoop for you.
Every XMS module built must pass a stringent battery of tests at its rated speed before being shipped. XMS4400 modules are tested at 550MHz with 3-4-4-8 latency settings at 2.75V. All XMS4400 modules are tested in an Asus P4C800-E dual channel DDR motherboard based on the Intel 875P "Canterwood" chipset. TwinX kits are tested as a matched pair and physically packaged together immediately after passing test, guaranteeing that the customer receives a product that has been verified in the dual channel environment.
- New VIA Arena Video
VIA Arena has produced another mildly humorous video talking about their Hyper8 HyperTransport bus for the Athlon 64 platform. The video was shot only about 15 minutes drive from our base here in Melbourne, Australia. If you want a taste of Aussie scenery or some mean looking sharks, check it out. If you want technical information, look elsewhere.
Come swimming with the sharks in a search for Hyper8, "a new mysterious beast". Yes, "Dinkum Dave" is at it again in another documentary exploring VIA technology.
