X-Micro TV-BAR USB TV Tuner Arrives

Sized and shaped not all too different to your usual USB pen drive, this little wonder provides easy radio and digital HDTV tuning (and recording) capabilities by means of USB connectivity. Taipei, October 15, 2005 - X-Micro Technology Corp. announced its new TV-BAR, a mini digital TV tuner that's the size of a regular USB flash drive. The TV-BAR tuner plugs into a USB port to turn a personal computer into a digital TV/Radio receiver and recorder. Watch TV live on a computer monitor, and record sports, news, and entertainment onto the computer's hard disk; then burn the recorded programs onto DVD. Never miss a program with the TV-BAR's scheduled recording feature.
The TV-BAR lets users enjoy the crispness and detail of HDTV, providing higher resolution and a superior viewing experience compared to analog. Fully compliant with the DVB-T digital terrestrial protocol, the TV-BAR provides reception of DVD quality TV images and sound. The TV-BAR also lets users listen to digital terrestrial radio on their PC.
