Guide to removing WGA notifications
Using a not so legitimate version of Windows XP? MyGQ, one of our forum members, has discovered a way to remove the annoying Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) notifications and so forth from Windows XP. He posted the guide in our forums, right here.

The quick and painless two step guide will guide you through how to stop the WGA notifications coming up. While it won't let you access Microsoft security updates, it will remove the annoying WGA tray icon and the notifications.
