First peek at Gigabyte's N680SLI-DQ6

By: (more) | Video Cards News | Posted: Dec 7, 2006 9:13 pm

Today during the OCZ Summit 2006 APAC event here in Taipei we were shown a bunch of new products from the sponsors of the show. Rockson Chiang from Gigabyte showed us their upcoming non-reference motherboard based on the nForce 680i chipset.

It looks to be a pretty kick-ass board - it is much like the P965-DQ6 and even comes with Quad Gigabit network ports - you can have 2 x 2gbps LAN ports. It even comes with a total of four e.SATA ports, which is pretty amazing.

Once the final version is ready (they are busily tweaking the BIOS for higher OC), we will run some tests of the board here in Taiwan and provide you with more photos of the final product.

The board will be shipping in mid January 2007!
