XFX Releases the First *Overclocked* GeForce 8800-series Graphics Cards

With NVIDIA having now decided to allow AIB partners to release overclocked variants of their 8800 series graphics cards, XFX have quickly become the first to do it, announcing their new "XXX" versions of both the GeForce 8800 GTX and 8800 GTS. The top end GTX card gains clock speeds of 630/2000Mhz (up from the standard 575/1800Mhz) whilst the GTS gets a boost up to 550/1800Mhz from the stock 500/1600Mhz speeds.

 

If you're keen to snap one up you'll want to be mighty quick, XFX only intend to release these cards in limited quantities.
