Call of Juarez DX10 benchmark with HD 2900 XT

By: (more) | Posted: May 14, 2007 7:48 am

During the Taipei HD 2900 XT press launch, we had a chance to run the Call of Juarez DX10 benchmark demo. We are unsure of the test system but it was of course running a single Radeon HD 2900 XT.

The demo looked quite good showcasing many DX10 graphics features but even just at 1280 x 720 it struggles along at just over 24 FPS and a minimum of 1.2 frames.

We decided against using this test in our HD 2900 XT review since it does not work properly on GeForce cards and the benchmark was commissioned by ATI, so even though it is one of the only DX10 benchmarks floating around right now, it can only be used for interest sakes and not direct comparison.
