By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Aug 21, 2007 9:18 am

If you're on the lookout for a top-notch efficient power supply with a difference, HIPER have introduced several this week in the Type R Mk II and Type M Series.

The Type R Mk II series are the most interesting of the bunch as they included some brand new patented features such as eight integrated USB 2.0 ports and also a convenient USB-style port designated to charging the majority of mobile devices, even when your computer is turned off.

HIPER compliment this new lineup with their excellent HIPER ToolBox packaging as well.

You can check out the PSUs here.

Milton Keynes / Dornach. After the successful launch of the 5th generation power supplies, at Games Convention in Leipzig (hall 4/G01) HIPER presents the "Energy Saving" line extensions with ultra-efficient models: up to 87% is the new top level among the Type R Mk II and Type M Series.

All new HIPER Power solutions have the HIPER Mesh-Design and a single low-noise 135mm fan. HPU-5K880 and HPU-5B880 are certified up to Nvidia GeForce 8800 Ultra.
