By: (more) | Internet & Websites News | Posted: Oct 31, 2007 11:14 pm

Motherboard maker FOXCONN have recently begun to show signs of taking things more seriously in the enthusiast market segment; the recent release of their tweaked up P35 "MARS" motherboard is the first that comes to mind when thinking about some of the more spiced up products we've seen from them lately.

Now they've taken things a step further again and set up a website dedicated to their new Quantum Force product line which the MARS motherboard is proudly a part of.

Dubbed Quantum-Force.net, the website includes a product registration function, access to exclusive downloads including BETA BIOS updates and special OC utilities, video content, competitions, OC tutorials and much more.

One of the first utilities made available at the site is their exclusive CrossFire Overclocking tool, this of course a free utility which isn't retricted to FOXCONN's products alone. QF engineers are also offering especially modified BIOS updates for enthusiasts to flash onto their CrossFire HD 2900 XT graphics card setups, which with adequate cooling can help give your system a nice boost in performance as well.

There's also some useful overclocking and tweaking tutorials online for those who arn't too sure what they're doing, as well as some interactive tutorials and video interviews etc.

Furthermore, FOXCONN are going to be rewarding people with a PC makeover who are able to top their "Power Wall" chart which comprises participants overclocking results using the new MARS motherboard.

Users submitting their score before 1st December could win up to US$1,000 to spend on upgrading their PC, with the top three 3DMark06 scores awarded US$1,000, US$500 and US$250 respectively.

FOXCONN's official press release on the launch of Quantum-Force.net can be read here. It's all fantastic stuff over at the newly launched Quantum-Force website, so definitely head on over and check it all out.
