HighPoint delivers RocketRAID 3520

Thanks to Intel's new IOP341 I/O processor, this has allowed HighPoint to introduce the industry's fastest 8-port RAID controller to the market, dubbed the RocketRAID 3520.

 

As the newest edition to the RocketRAID 3000 series, this model is a x8 PCI-Express based card which as mentioned sports eight ports which can work together with advanced RAID levels of 0,1,5,6,10,50.

 

The card is aimed at the enterprise server market and is able to provide massive throughput with speeds of up to and beyond 600MB/sec for its read/write operation, this said to put it in the #1 spot for the fastest 8-port RAID controller in this market segment.
