Radeon HD 3690 is for China market only
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAAfter posting our story about the Radeon HD 3690 and requesting samples from several companies including Sapphire, we were told that the high-end mid-range graphics card is only for the China market and will not be available in other areas.
If you wanted to buy this product and you're not in China, bad luck.
We figure the reason for this is that the higher end HD 3850 and 3870 models probably aren't being sold in China due to the high asking price - at least in any decent quantities. This part will be the high-end gaming GPU for AMD in China for the time being.
