TweakTown's New Design - Welcome!

By: (more) | TweakTown News | Posted: Nov 29, 2001 1:59 pm

As Founder of TweakTown I'd formally like to welcome you all to TweakTown and our new and exciting design which we have been working on with Mitchell Harper (designer) for the past couple of months, the design will be fully deployed shortly. On behalf of the entire TweakTown Team, I hope you find your stay most enjoyable and the new design just as stunning as we do! Apart from being very stylish and professional, the website loads correctly in all web browsers and in all resolutions from 800x600 and above - I consider this as the most important problem we have fixed over the old design. There are many added bonuses to this new design, allow me to note just a couple. Since the website is based on a PHP and MySQL database, it allows for much better effeciency. For example, enabling us to post an average sized review roughly 50% quickly compared to the old design. Added to this, we are now able to literally post new content from any computer on the globe which has an Internet connection - It's pretty amazing, wouldn't you agree? I'd also like to point out the site Search feature, towards the top of the page you'll notice this feature which allows you to search for whatever you may be looking for, making it much easier than hunting around for it. There are many more features which I'm sure you'll discover shortly, don't be affraid to have a poke around. I'm sure you'll grow to love the new TweakTown design, just as we did. Please make yourself at home and ensure your seat belt is securely fastened, we are happy to have you join us for the exciting ride ahead. We look forward to hearing your comments - You'll also notice a Poll to your left where you can vote and express your opinion. Stay tuned, rough yet exciting seas await our journey in the months to come.
