GIGABYTE show off its P45 boards early

By: (more) | Posted: Apr 14, 2008 2:04 pm

Probably looking to draw some attention to its upcoming motherboards based on Intel's performance P45 Express chipset, GIGABYTE has sent out its GA-P45-DS5 and GA-EP45-DS3P for early photo previews.

The folks over at bit-tech get an early look at the GA-P45-DS5 which sees many improvements over previous generation such as angled SATA ports to avoid issues with fitting in large graphics cards as well as finally onboard buttons to reset, clear CMOS and power down your system which will be super handy when it comes to overclocking.

Xfastest via VR-Zone has plenty of pictures of another GIGABYTE P45 board, this times it's the cut down EP45-DS3P. For instance, it has less SATA ports and less exotic chipset cooling setup than the GA-P45-DS5.

You can find more of the pictures over here and here.
