NAVIGON brings traffic service to the MobileNavigator iPhone App and announces price

NAVIGON, a leading provider of mobile on-board navigation, today announced the availability of its Traffic Live feature in the Australia version of their iPhone app. NAVIGON -Traffic Live will utilise Australia's first digital traffic information service, SUNA Traffic, to provide traffic information on accidents, congestion, road closures, major road works and special events all around Australia, helping drivers to route around congested roads and arrive in time.

Traffic Live blends seamlessly into MobileNavigator with easy to read displays and simple to use menus. The software automatically recognises traffic information when calculating a route, and drivers receive immediate on-screen alerts to new incidents and congestion as they occur. The NAVIGON MobileNavigator display also provides detailed information regarding the severity of the incident and the speed of traffic flow.

Key features of NAVIGON Traffic Live include:

• Users receive immediate on-screen alerts highlighting accidents, construction and other incidents that can cause congestion along the route.
• Provides detailed information regarding the severity of the incident and the speed of traffic flow.
• Based on the traffic warnings and the excellent mapping functionality the user can determine an efficient, alternative route or stay on the course
• The software automatically adjusts estimated time of arrival.

The MobileNavigator app transforms the iPhone into an inclusive navigation device that saves the maps on the phone and relies on the GPS receiver, independent from a cell or wireless signal. It is the most feature rich on-board navigation application, featuring premium functions such as Traffic Live , Clever Parking, Reality View™ Pro, Panorama View 3D, NAVIGON MyRoutes, Live Weather, Connection to Facebook and Twitter, branded in-route POI's and much more.

In year one, NAVIGON's iPhone app transformed more than 1 million iPhones around the world into standalone navigation devices, placing the app in number one billing spots on iTunes, Staff Favorites and Rewind 2009 lists. NAVIGON's MobileNavigator has been the top-grossing app several times in 29 different App Stores around the globe, including Australia.

Pricing and Availability

NAVIGON traffic is available as an In App Purchase for an introductory offer of $14.99 until October 8, before reverting to $29.99. NAVIGON's MobileNavigator app is also available from today at a reduced price of $69.99 (usually $89.99) until October 8.
