VOX V1 500GB USB and eSATA External Hard Drive

Introduction

Aaah, storage. As far as I'm concerned, you can't have enough of it. Be it in a server or on the go, you can't really ever have too much hard drive space. Today we're taking the time to have a look at a hard drive caddie from a company called VOX.

While I haven't personally heard of them until now, having a look at the product they sent us today has opened my eyes to the company. The particular caddie we're looking at today is the VOX V1 which comes in three forms; 250GB, 500GB and 750GB.

With three different sizes available, the chances are that one of them is right for you. The particular one we have today is the 500GB model which is covered in an all-black chassis.

We will today have a look at how the VOX V1 goes up against another caddie we have with us and also against one of our Samsung 1TB drives that is already installed in our system. Before we get into that though, let's have a look at the package VOX has put together along with a closer look at the caddie itself.
