All that glitters is 3.5mm

The gold plated 3.5mm jacks have colour coded rings to help identify which is which, though I confess this can get a little confusing in the low light conditions we gamers typically inhabit.

Taking a closer look at the USB sound card, we have the stereo 3.5mm sockets and a power indication LED.

On the flipside, we have buttons for volume, muting and microphone enabling. Pretty much all you need really.

On the opposite end, the USB mini input provides the power and the data. Support through windows allows 12 frequency equalisation bars so you can tweak your sounds until your heart's content.

Up close now on the inline mute and volume knob on the headphone set itself; it's almost a work of minimalist art.
