Will Intel's Bloomfield CPUs, initially shipping in 2.66 GHz, 2.93 GHz and 3.2 GHz flavours, all share the same TDP?
The answer may be yes.
Fudzilla reports that, if Intel's official documents are anything to go by, the Nehalem microarchitecture derived CPUs will, it is claimed, all have a TDP rating of 130W.
There are also indications that there will be significant overclocking headroom, cites the article, drawing upon observations of a 2.93 GHz part exceeding the 4 GHz mark with air cooling.
If reports are to be believed, enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on some Nehalem goodness in November.
