Logitech have announced a new addition to their MX range, and it's from way left field, the Logitech MX ERGO trackball mouse. In fact, it's their first trackball mouse in over a decade. The innovative MX ERGO offers personalized comfort with a unique adjustable hinge, precision tracking with multi-device connectivity. Logitech have targeted consumers searching for alternatives to mice and touchpads, as well as trackball enthusiasts.
"We are so excited by this new trackball. It is back, better than ever and the idea for this trackball innovation was inspired by our users, who invented creative ways to achieve their desired level of comfort, sometimes adding additional wedges under their trackball for elevated angles," said Anatoliy Polyanker, global portfolio and brand director at Logitech. "The MX ERGO is our first adjustable trackball that delivers on the need for elevated comfort in a beautiful design."
The wireless MX ERGO offers the latest tracking technology, allowing faster and more precise navigation with the ability to instantly change your cursor speed and accuracy for optimal control with the press of a button. The adjustable hinge allows users to increase the angle from 0 to 20 degrees which improves wrist posture and pronation, reducing muscular strain and fatigue. Logitech have announced their new PC and Bluetooth speaker system, the MX Sound speaker system. This two-channel speaker system incorporates multiple inputs on-the-fly thanks to Logitech's Easy-Switch feature. The MX sound features Bluetooth 4.1, two 3.5mm inputs and one headphone jack that allows connection flexibility of multiple devices, wired or wireless.
You may have noticed I mentioned this speaker system is two-channel only, and doesn't feature a sub-woofer. This allows versatility with your setup, especially if you're using a laptop, you can easily maneuver the 3.8 lbs (1.72 kg) speakers. Logitech have addressed the lack of a sub-woofer, ensuring bass shouldn't be an issue with rear-facing port tubes to improve bass response, and 12-Watts of RMS power (24 peak) to provide excellent sound quality.
The premium fabric finish really enhances the MX Sound speaker system's appearance, giving it a premium look that matches the MX series. Supported by motion-activated back-lit controls, the MX Sound speaker system is a great addition to your desktop, or laptop set up. Priced at $99.99, availability is set for a October 2017 release.
